CCI Seeks Volunteer Families to Host Foreign Exchange Students

The Center for Cultural Interchange, or CCI, has recently announced the organization’s need for families who are generous enough to volunteer as hosts for foreign exchange students. Before they are officially accepted to the program, these students need to comply with important basic requirements, such as a foreign exchange student insurance.

Basically, host families will be asked by CCI to offer these students encouragement, advice, open communication and patience. The host family will also be asked to provide the student three meals each day. Essentially, families are asked to provide room and board, a place to study, and to treat the student as part of the family and provide emotional support.

They will not have to worry about financial obligations in case of emergencies, as these scholars have plans in place for emergency situations. In cases of health emergencies, everything will be covered by the foreign student health insurance.
